Bay Area Turning Point School Supply Drive
Our team never ceases to amaze us! Thank you to everyone who donated to the Back to School Drive for the Bay Area Turning Point shelter. We had another very successful drive this year! Along with the school supplies from employees, MRI donated backpacks and lunch boxes. With MRI Team’s generous donations, the children were well prepared to begin another school year. Thank you all who donated. Your kindness and generosity is truly appreciated! Mercy Tree
A group of Orion Employees serve lunch, provided by MRI, to the homeless at The Mercy Tree on September 5, in memory of their friend/co-worker Melissa Wolvin-Goldman, former MRI employee who passed away on 9/5/15. MRI received a lovely thank you note from The Mercy Tree which states, “Thank you so much for providing the meal for The Mercy Tree on 9/5 in honor of Melissa Wolvin-Goldman. This was a beautiful tribute to her legacy. Thank you for pouring into our community in such a lasting and meaningful way. We couldn’t do what we do without such generous contributions from wonderful people such as yourselves.” Thank you to Lisa Rodriguez for setting up this event.
MRI Participates in the Interfaith Caring Ministries (ICM) Easter Basket Project March 2020
MRI employees really outdid themselves this year for ICM. With all of the thoughtful donations, we were able to create over 100 Easter Baskets for needy children in our area. We also donated extra socks, underwear and snacks we had left over. This was our most successful Easter Basket Project to date! ICM sent their gratitude with a handwritten thank you card that states, “Thanks so much for your donation of over 100 Easter Baskets for our clients. Your donation will make Easter so special for the many families we serve. Please know that we appreciate your kindness very much!” Thank you MRI!
MRI Participates in Back to School Drive
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Back to School Drive for the Bay Area Turning Point shelter. The shelter is currently housing 81 participants, 51 whom are children. With MRI’s very generous donations they had a great party, and the children were well prepared for school! Thank you all for providing these children at the shelter with joy during a very difficult time in their lives.
